Shield & Honor is owned by Samantha Kennedy, who started designing and creating her own jewelry as a hobby at a young age. Through the years she has developed both a skill for creating beautiful jewelry, as well as a passion for designing unique and meaningful pieces that are appealing to a wide range of clients.
The bullet necklaces were first created solely for Samantha and her family, as a feeling of comfort and love for her late grandfather. As she wore them, she realized how many people admired them and also how many would cherish an elegant pendant for someone they too wanted to honor and remember. It seemed as though just about everyone who saw the necklace became infatuated with it and was intrigued by both its unique story and appearance. Given its mass appeal, Samantha decided to create a design that would be versatile and adaptable for several different bullet shells.
After several years and a plethora of failed attempts, she envisioned and developed an elegant, yet simple, design which is showcased on her website. She is overjoyed to have the opportunity to pursue her true passion and to be able to share it with others -- especially in such a way that honors loved ones, contributes to a like-minded organization and is a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry that is sure to make a statement!
